The Down Syndrome Association of El Paso was established in 2007. The primary purpose of our organization is to provide support and education to families who have children with Down Syndrome. Down Syndrome is a chromosomal abnormality which affects people of all ages, races and economic levels.

Read more2010 Buddy Walk
EPCC and the Down Syndrome Association of El Paso are in the planning EPCC Diversity Programs Buddy Walk 2010. The Buddy Walk will be held October 2nd at the El PasoCommunity College, Valle Verde Camus. The purpose of this event is to bring awareness of Down Syndrome to the community. The proceeds of this event will support scholarships for individuals with disabilities. Many individuals with disabilities have the ability to attend college however, many do not have the financial resources to do so.
The Resistration fee for the Walk is $40 per Family, $20 for individuals and $10 for Senior Citizens, Military or EPCC Students. If you would like to register for the Buddy Walk or if you have any questions on the Buddy Walk, Please feel free to call Diana Reyes at (915)490-3337.
